  D64 support with disk recovery!
Posted by: admin - 07-27-2019, 12:13 PM - Forum: Latest News - No Replies

SCP can now generate .d64 files for use with emulators. This support uses a complex algorithm designed to recover lost data. So, disks with read errors reported on a C64 can likely be dumped to an image, completely recovering the data!

  SCP Serial port support added!
Posted by: admin - 06-27-2014, 02:17 PM - Forum: Latest News - No Replies

Both SCP serial ports have been activated with v1.0 of the firmware.  The default baud rate of the RS232-1 port is 250Kbps, and the default baud rate of RS232-2 port is 9600 baud.  You can of course change the baud rate to anything between 300 baud and 1.25 megabaud.  Changes to the baud are non-volatile, so a reset of the board will restore the default baud rates.  If anyone thinks that either of these should default to a lower baud rate, please let me know.

  ADF support with disk recovery!
Posted by: admin - 04-09-2014, 08:40 AM - Forum: Latest News - No Replies

SCP can now generate ADF files for use with emulators. This support uses a complex algorithm designed to recover lost data. So, disks with read errors reported on an Amiga can likely be dumped to an image, completely recovering the data!

I am working on the same support for D64 image files, recovering 1541 disks as well as ST/MSA image files, recovering Atari ST disks.

WinUAE beta released with SCP support!
Posted by: admin - 03-18-2014, 01:19 PM - Forum: Latest News - No Replies

WinUAE has been updated to support Keir's work done with E-UAE and FS-UAE.

At this point, it appears that every single type of MFM based copy protection ever made is now fully compatible with WinUAE.

Since WinUAE does not support GCR at all, any disk with dual formats (or protected by GCR data) will not work.

E-UAE and FS-UAE support .scp images!
Posted by: admin - 03-17-2014, 02:31 PM - Forum: Latest News - No Replies

Thanks to the efforts by Keir Frazer, E-UAE and FS-UAE now support .scp flux images!

I asked Toni Willen (WinUAE) to look into the changes made by Keir, and Toni has added support as well! WinUAE has not been publicly released yet with .scp support but I have been beta testing it and it works almost 100% perfect - in fact, there is only one program at this point that does not work and that is being resolved.
