Hi Jim. Love the Ultra Reset. It has been working great. I just recently purchased a JiffyDos rom set from Retro Innovations. It comes with both the kernel and drive roms with a soldered on switch. I’m trying to determine how I can wire this up to my Ultra Reset so that I can use that to switch kernels rather than having to install the provided switch. If memory serves, Ultra Reset has a single green wire. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I recently built the Ultra 64 Reset kit and installed it but my machine will not come up with the blue wire connected. The internal drive runs constantly and screen is blank. If i unhook the blue wire all is well. I have double and triple checked the component location / orientation and the interface wires and everything is as shown in manual. Has anyone had this problem and what was done to resolve it? If I find a solution I will update the post. Thanks

It seems that many people are putting the yellow wire on the wrong pin of the two pin connector. Make sure you put the yellow wire inside of the 2nd pin socket, which is NOT connected to ground.

If your machine just resets over and over again when you power it up, the yellow wire is in the wrong position.
