The WiModem232 Pro is next generation internet modem for any computer with a RS-232 interface port that emulates a standard Hayes compatible modem. Just plug the WiModem232 Pro into the "serial" port and connect to BBS's all over the world or run a BBS of your own!

The WiModem232 Pro requires access to your local router and supports easy WiFi setup, including WPS one-button setup, manual SSID entry, or an easy to use WiFi portal on the your smart phone or tablet.

Firmware updates are done using a simple command that fetches the latest firmware from the CBMSTUFF.COM server and updates the WiModem232 Pro - all without ever having to remove the WiModem232 Pro from your computer!

The WiModem232 Pro hardware supports 75 baud to 230400 baud and every possible parity, start bit, and stop bit configuration.  Note: the terminal software you are using determines the maximum baud rate.

The WiModem232 Pro requires external 5v power. Connect any 5v source (PC, phone charger, etc.) using a cable having a micro USB connector.

The WiModem232 Pro controls ALL of the standard RS-232 lines: Rx/Tx, RTS/CTS, DTR/DSR, and DCD all at the same time. This means that you can use the WiModem232 Pro to run a BBS!

A DB25 to DB9 or RS-232 gender changer may be required for your particular computer. These are available separately. The WiModem232 Pro uses a DB25 female connector (plugging into a DB25 male port).

NULL-MODEM support!

You can use two WiModem232 Pro units together in NULL-MODEM mode.  This allows you to plug one into your computer and one into any RS232 compatible device (such as a printer, plotter, or another computer) and use the two devices together without the normally required NULL-MODEM cable!  It's a wireless and direct connection and no router is required!

This version of the WiModem232 Pro comes with the full color, hires TFT screen and resin 3D printed case.
