SUPPLY CHAIN SHORTAGE
#1
So, I think by now that any developer of hardware products can tell you that the supply chain shortage is real.  Parts that I have had on allocation since early 2020 will not be available until June of 2023.  Things ARE getting better, but slowly.  It's just now that I am able to get some basic components like voltage regulators in greater than 1K piece quantities that are necessary to do production runs of products.

I think 2023 is going to be a good year because it looks like a LOT of long awaited products will finally be able to be released.

Edit (2025) many components were phased out by manufacturers. This resulted in my having to redesign products using different CPUs and such.
