So, you have your WiModem232 and want to connect to a BBS but don't know of any?

cqbbs.ddns.net:6502 is one you should check out! There's even a contest going on right now where you could win a WiModem232 among other prizes!

cqbbs.ddns.net:6502 is Captain's Quarters BBS, which is one of my favorites. I also really love Dura-Europos at dura-bbs.net:6359. Also there's the "Modern" Sanctum II BBS at sanctumbbs.com:23 and the Retro Apple //e version of Sanctum BBS at sanctumbbs.com:6502 if you really want to start slumming. :-)

Thanks!
It was a monumental effort, and thanks for all that hard work you put in and putting up with all my requests and complaints.

In the end, the WiModem232 works absolutely perfectly, answers properly, detects remote hangups, hangs up the way it should and initializes every time. I went away for a week and left it completely unattended and no problems whatsoever.

A future improvement might be to display the pin statuses on the OLED screen - like DTR, RTS, DSR, CD, CTS, Tx and Rx...

Another BBS is 9640news.ddns.net:9640 .  It supports both the TI-99/4A and Geneve 9640, and also has connection to the Retronet network with quite a few orphaned computer message boards.

One of the coolest things I've found to do with my WiModem232 is to check the news on the StealthWorld BBS (stealthworld.tk:2023) via their BBC news channel. It's way more fun than checking the BBC app!

Are there any other BBSs that have current news updates like this?
