Questions - Before Purchase
#4
WOW, order arrived this morning via USPS. FAST SERVICE!

I opened the package and plugged in the Floppy Cable, and USB Cable. I re-read the
Manual, and connected the 5.25" Floppy drive.

Things that worked PERFECT:
1. Software Install
2. Software - EASE of USE
3. Copying A: to A: to make a Backup CP/M Floppy
4. Creating a SCP File from Floppy for Storage on Hard Drive (Preservation File)

The Copy of my CP/M Boot floppy booted PERFECT, and the Software executed properly,
ie. pip, nsweep, nulu12, cpy, & d.

Now, I just have one last question. The "BOOTFILE.SCP" (Kaypro II Boot Floppy SSDD 48 TPI) that was created is on my XP Drive,
and I'd like to know how that SCP Image be used to recreate or reproduce some image file, or floppy that I can access with my Kaypro II,
or cpmtools with Linux, or Imagedisk (imd118) with DOS 7.1, or some other software to be able to access the files years from now?
If I copy the .SCP Image to a Blank Floppy, a Kaypro II (SSDD 48 TPI) formatted floppy or a Kaypro IV (DSDD 48 TPI) formatted floppy
they don't boot. Every thing I've tried so far hasn't worked.

I'm so close to having exactly what I need, if I could get this last question answered about being able to convert the SCP file and write a
Floppy or file for direct access.

Any Ideas or suggestions?

THANKS.

Larry
