Would these ones work on the Mechboard64 with or without the little adapter pegs, or should I just wait for the originals (which do require the adapters)? All they do is raise the keys up slightly for clearance on the Mechboard. I just want to make sure I get the simplest solution. If these will work on the Mechboard, then I'll just order a set now. Thanks!

Keycaps for the Blingboard64 will not work with the Mechboard. The keycaps are designed with different offsets. They will work with Commodore's new C64U and C64CU machines.

Keycaps for the original C64 will work with the Mechboard, using the adapters.

Hello

i just wanted to mention that i expect there are a few people out there are a little frustrated that the only keycaps that are available are for the blingboard when you your previous messages there was no mention that the latest delivery was keycaps only for the blingboard..

i don't want to criticise your products because you make some fab stuff but in future can you please be more transparent about what is going to be available ?

It has been no secret that the order of production has been Blingboard64 keycaps before more keycaps for the original computer. The older keycaps are in production.

I've been watching the store closely most of this year.

The latest store update says it will be reopening on Sept. 21st but I have lost track of the previous notices. I *thought* I saw mention of original keycaps (hopefully it was not just wishful thinking).

When the store re-opens, will original keycaps be available at this time or will it be Blingboard caps for non-backers?

Thanks.

Looks like original keycaps will take more time - see 3rd paragraph:
