If you see CONNECTED on the OLED screen (and the LED now green), then the modem is connected. You probably want to look at what settings are required for the modem. Some BBS programs use silent commands (numbers instead of words), which are supported. You should have a config file where you can setup all of the settings. I have never heard of this BBS program before, so I can't help you with it. If you can find the documentation I can certainly help guide you through what needs to be done for setup.
