Your best best would be to use a8RawConv, which is a program that can use the SCP hardware to read/write Atari and Apple 8 bit disks. It also uses .scp image files. It was specifically made for SuperCard Pro image files then the guy opted to control the hardware directly.

Thank you. I just tried it and worked. It took a while to figure out what else was needed to get it to work.
I had to install the driver for the SCP and configure it for a virtual port.
PITA, but very happy that I now have a few backups.
I now wish there was a complete GUI for it.
