Silly me - I was thinking that RTS/CTS handshaking was enabled by default! I suspect I glanced at the text that reads "By default, RTS/CTS handshaking is enabled" in the manual, not spotting that it was referring to the hardware bridges in the non-Pro version of the PDF in a section labelled "WiModem232-V1 Only"!

Could you please explain the pros and cons of using nullmodem mode versus dialling one WiModem from another (ATDT/ATA)? I know that nullmodem connections can be made persistent, but once connected, are they essentially the same?
I can document my PPP setup more completely in case it would be helpful - I see a few forum threads about Amigas and TCP/IP connectivity.
