Feature request: Reports caller IP on connect
#11
Yes, this was not added to the original version because it requires refactoring how the settings are saved. The original WiModem232 used virtual EEPROM, and I am actually out of space. The WiModem232 Pro uses a virtual file to store the settings, and that file can be any size.

Ah, okay. I was just wondering. I'll just add the sequence to the initialization string. That works too.

Thanks for the explanation.

is there a way to give us access to the system part of the wifimodem allowing us to see the screen via html interface/browser? As well as control the modem. sometimes when there is a connection in progress and bad things happen I have no way to control the modem, or hang it up. If the client doens't hang up the modem i'm pretty much stuck because their telnet session is with the modem, not the computer itself.

You can always control the WiModem232 by putting it into command mode (+++) and then issuing commands. You can hang it up this way. You can also use AT&D2 and then hang up the modem by changing the DTR line.
