Hi Jim et al , been using the modem for a while now with my Acorn BBC Micro.
Really been enjoying it. I have a longtime ambition to set up a BBS. Is there any kind
of say "Idiot's Guide " to doing this for the Wimodem232. I have basic knowledge but a
complete beginner when it comes to setting up a simple BBS, or initially even just setting up
a test system on the BBC (with the Wimodem) that I can connect to from Telnet on my laptop
or Raspberry Pi4.

Would appreciate any inputs or advice.

thankyou
Brian
You don't really need to do anything special! There are a lot of people using the WiModem (C64) and WiModem232 for running BBS's around the world. The WiModem232 emulates a real Hayes modem. So, you just need to configure your BBS software just like a real modem was there. That's it!
