IMG to SCP conversion?
#1
Good afternoon - I'm looking to use my Supercard Pro to write old 5 1/4" images for some old CP/M and DOS machines I"m working on.  I don't have the original floppies (I'm working on 3 Kaypros, 2 Osbourne 1's, and a Compaq Portable III), but I can find versions of thes disks online.

Problem is, I'm finding things in IMG format, which the SCP application doesn't seem to support.

What's the best way to convert from an IMG file (in my case a DOS 3.3 boot floppy) into an SCP file?

Thanks very much!

HxC Floppy Drive Emulator software will convert .img files to .scp files.

DOS standard disk image (.IMA .IMG) can be convered to .SCP by using PRI.EXE / PFI.EXE from PCE IBM PC 5150 emulator.

*Example

1) IMA/IMG --> PRI
PRI -p encode auto DISK1.IMA DISK1.PRI

2) PRI --> SCP
PFI -p encode pri DISK1.PRI DISK1.SCP

*Remember that not all the PSI / TD0 / IMD / CP2 format with copy protected sector can be converted to SCP correctly..
