Scanning Bus for Floppy Drive
#1
I have a problem of the Scanning Bus for Floppy Drive on my SCP.

Maybe SCP seems to be out of order on scanning floppy drive.
So I want to send it back to you to repair it from ASIA.

I wonder address is the following.

www.cbmstuff.com 3269 Maricopa Ave. Ste. 114-511 Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406 USA

Also I want to buy more same Super Card Pro right now.

Yes, that is the correct address. I am having another batch of boards made right now. I expect them in a couple of weeks.

What exact problem are you having? Unless you have plugged the drive cable in backwards (which will destroy the SuperCard Pro) there is really nothing you can do to cause a problem. What drive are you using? How are you powering it?

This is my fault. But SCP seems to be recognized on Windows.
Only problem is that isn't recognize scanning bus floppy drvies.
I don't think so all of SCP are not destroyed.
Anyway I'll return it back to you.

Also I want to order more 1 or 2 SCP Pro.

Can I get a repair after you receive the SCP board?

The cause of the failure is that of the data cable of the floppy drive.
The connection direction is wrong and it is broken due to reverse current.

SCP cards are recognized by Windows 10.
However, not all floppy drives are recognized.

The data cable for the floppy drive is 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch
But the problem was that the cable could not identify the direction.

As soon as I connected the data cable to the 5.25 inch drive
I checked the board's chipset for a bit of smoke.

Anyway, I sent SCP card to your address by EMS.
(Of course I attached message with SCP card)
I personally want my SCP card to be repaired.

I also checked that the interface chips should never get hot.
That seems to be only possible with a bus problem when I seek the floppy drive.

Except this problem, SCP interface seems to work well.

Yes, you plugged the cable in backwards and destroyed it. I will let you know when arrives.
