Performed the firmware update. I don't know if there is a newer version of the firmware since I bought my WiModem232, but it went thought its paces anyhow.
I was able to connect to my router with an underscore in its SSID.
However, if there are any password inconsistencies or you enter the incorrect WPA password the error returned by the WiModem is "No Router Found". Perhaps there could be a better implementation of this error handling?
