Hi,

Seems my PCDOS 7 disks are normal 1.44's YaY!

But the OS/2 Warp Disks I am working on next do use XDF.

On the matter of imaging XDF disks like disks 2-15 in OS/2 Warp 3.0, should continue to use IBM 1.44MB mode tracks 0-79?

XDF doesn't make use of extra tracks does it?

XDF uses only the standard 80 tracks.

I have never encountered a 1.44mb PC-DOS 7.0 1.44m disk set. Are you sure you are not actually using PC-DOS 2000? Confusingly, command.com in PC-DOS 2000 identifies itself as "IBM PC DOS 7.00, revision 1".

Yes, use 1.44MB format for imaging any 3.5" disk that uses a HD floppy disk.
