No, it supports 300-38400, using a variety of modem options, including the UP9600 hack.

I haven't found Desterm. I'll see if I can find it and use it. I used Novaterm, but it keeps loading up in to a 80 column screen - at that point I can barely read it and I cann't get it to a normal C64 40 column screen... Any help on setting up Novaterm properly?

CCGMS 2017 and Striker 2014 final. Thanks Admin and Digital Man for your relpys. I don't need 80 column support ... at least not right now. You mentioned mods?? for CCGMS? are they already built in or do I have to put them in the same directory as program. I guess with both CCGMS and Striker 2014... I guess I just don't have the correct settings. One of them has User Port... the other one I have to pick a modem... I don't know... it's all odd that someone doesn't have the correct settings to share with everyone for these programs.. I feel like I can shooting in the dark just picking items.. most of which I thought didn't have to be messed with.. but I guess I am wrong.. Right now I just want to be able to upgrade my wimodem and get on C64 BBS... I knoiw when I am trying to upgrade the wimodem I have to be in ASCII mode... but when I am jumping on a C64 BBS I have to switch back to Commodore mode. Thanks, -SF-

Various lockups with different terminals. ![]() So far the fastest I'm able to transfer is with Snapterm @ 4800 baud using Xmodem. |
