I'll just use this thread, because I don't want to start a new one...
So, why is the serial port so slow?
I wanted to try reading the flux data with microcontroller and store them on SD card (since the built-in one is not used),
but because the SCP sends only 1byte every 50ms, it takes around 55mins to transfer 64kB over the serial port.
And that was just track0 on side0, it would take probably few days to transfer entire 1.44MB floppy.
Or am I doing something wrong?
