If I owned it still I would not release the source code. Everything I do is always closed source, because I create commercial products.
Thanks. I appreciate the answer and I meant no disrespect. The idea was trying to revive software that hasn't been sold for two decades since it fits a specific need that seems up its alley.
For people interested it probably wouldn't be a burden to pay a fee for the engine too, but I assumed it was completely abandoned and nobody is up to the task of modifying it so I just asked for the source.
