Does simply rebooting the WiModem232 fix this issue?
I will look into making this change, but when I looked at doing this several years ago (in cases where the router lost power) it took several seconds to check for the router connection every time it is done. This means you missing all terminal input while checking.

Well, good news! There has been a provision added at some point since I last looked into this that will set or clear a flag when the router connects or disconnects. I should be able to use that to determine the current connection state and then try to reconnect to the router if the connection is lost. I will do some experiments today.

Ah... I went ahead and made this update for all of the WiModems, and added the last change for supporting ATW as well.
The new version is available. I tested this by simply turning off the router and turning it back on!
