Hi.  For some reason I can't connect to some BBSs.  At first I just though they were down, but then I tried to connect using Putty on my Windows machine and they work fine.  An example is Retro Battlestations BBS (bbs.fozztexx.com), I can't connect.  After dialing, it says No Answer almost immediately.  

Any ideas?

It could be that these require TELNET escaping enabled. Send the AT*T1 command and then try connecting.
